Shipping & Collection Notes

All cheeses are shipped with sufficient ice packs to allow for any delays in transit meaning that your cheese should still arrive in perfect condition. We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.

Please note that our standard delivery charge is higher for next day before 10:30. This excludes Highlands & Islands where the shipping cost is higher. We offer free delivery for orders over £100 (with a supplement for next day before 10:30 delivery). We cannot change the delivery address so please check the details carefully.

All orders delivered by courier will arrive from Tuesday to Friday and a typical order will be shipped within 2 days of being confirmed. No signature is required. If you are out, we will instruct the courier to leave your parcel in a safe place. We cannot guarantee the actual date of delivery.  The carriers will try their upmost to get all collections and deliveries done as quickly as they can.

We want your cheese to arrive ripe and in perfect condition. We will either use a lightweight bag or a cardboard box for larger orders. The cardboard box is recyclable and reusable. To keep it cool we use ice packs unless it is really chilly outside and it will also be surrounded by sheep’s wool for insulation and protection.

Ordering for a specific occasion?

To ensure your cheeses are perfect for your event, order 7 days in advance and in the notes specify when you would like the delivery for.

We make cheese on our own family farm. We manage everything; from the soil, the grass, the cows, the milk, the cheese, through to parcelling up a gorgeous cheese hamper for you.

You can order and collect from the farm, or I can courier your hamper to your chosen recipient. It will be wrapped in an innovative sustainable sheeps wool insulation with an ice pack to ensure that it arrives in tip top condition. You can specify your chosen delivery date and a gift message. It will travel on a next day delivery service.

It is really helpful if you can place your order early!

Gifting

There will be no invoice in the order. You may wish to put the recipient’s delivery instructions and email address and phone number on the order for delivery updates.

Ice Cream and eggs cannot be delivered and are for collection only.

If you have ordered ice cream, it will be in the table top freezer on the left hand side of the table. This is a contactless collection so you do not need to see anyone when you come. If you have trouble finding your order, please do call me on 07977580281.

Collection of general orders from the farm:

If you have placed your order by Tuesday it will be ready to collect from Friday onwards – it may be sooner- however please wait for email confirmation before making your journey. Please see our contact page for directions.

Portions:

Cutting cheese is a real art. Sometimes we may go underweight on one item and if this occurs, then we will go overweight on another item.

Shelf life:

You cheese will have approximately 12 days shelf life from the date of despatch – and may well be received with a much longer life.

*In unforeseen circumstances where our chosen cheeses are unavailable we will substitute with something equally pleasing.

All of our produce is vegetarian and pasteurised and made from our cows milk. Keep refrigerated below 8 degrees C.

Follow-up emails with an invitation to submit a review will be sent.

Brinkworth Dairy, Hill End Farm, Brinkworth, SN15 5AZ

About Us

Hill End Farm, our location for Brinkworth Dairy has been family farmed since 1910 when William Collingborn established our pedigree friesian herd.

Our cows are reared on our sustainable family farm and are treated with care and respect. Our cows graze on the traditional lush pastures of the Dauntsey Vale for 240 days of the year. The herd is relatively small which means the cows are not stressed and the milk is extremely clean.
